Here at North Wales Police we take equality and diversity seriously, both within the organisation and in the communities we serve.

Our services respond to the diversity of our local communities and cultures, by engaging with them and understanding their specific needs. In this way we are able to police more effectively.
The Equality Act 2010 represents the culmination of years of debate about how to improve British equality law. It offers individuals stronger protection against discrimination. It gives employers and businesses greater clarity about their responsibilities. And it sets new expectations that public services must treat everyone with dignity and respect.

The Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS) provides information advice and support on discrimination and human rights issues to individuals in England, Scotland and Wales, recognising the constitutional, legal, social and policy differences.
Advice includes:
